How can I definitively book an accommodation?

You can book a group accommodation directly through our site. How do you do this? Go to the accommodation in question. Click on “Availability and price”, fill in the desired arrival and departure dates and the number of guests. The rent will now be shown immediately. When you click on explanation, you will see a cost breakdown. Then click on “Go to booking” and fill in the rest of the details. Extras can also be booked here. A booking is immediately final! If there are any specifics, you will of course be informed as soon as possible. Please note that travel agreements are an exception to the ‘Distance Selling Act’ and are therefore not eligible for a right of withdrawal (‘cooling-off period’) of 14 days.

You enter into a rental agreement with the owner of the accommodation. We will confirm your booking in writing by email as soon as possible and pass on your details to the owner of the accommodation.

You pay a booking fee of € 69 per booking (with the exception of our partner offer). The confirmation contains the name and address details of the house and the owner/manager. The agreement itself, as well as the financial settlement, will be arranged with you by the relevant (home) owner or by Groepen.nl. After booking, you only have contact with the homeowner. Of course, you can always continue to use our services after booking with questions or other matters.

This accommodation is mainly intended for family groups, other groups are here “on request”. What is meant by this?

By this we mean that the accommodation is rented to family and friends groups with children. If you wish to book with another group (association, sports group, students, school, etc.), we will consult with the relevant owner as to whether his accommodation is suitable for your group. The deposit may be increased or the owner may first contact you to discuss his house rules and/or your programme. You will of course – if applicable to this accommodation – be informed as soon as possible whether your booking has been confirmed.

Delivery and execution:

Groepen.nl acts as an intermediary for the conclusion of rental agreements for the group accommodations. The relationship between the client and Groepen.nl is subject to the Thuiswinkel general terms and conditions. The rental agreement that is concluded between the client and the lessor, to which agreement Groepen.nl is not a party, is subject to the general terms and conditions as used by the lessor. The assignment to Groepen.nl to reserve an accommodation is binding on you as the client. You can pay the service costs immediately after clicking on ‘Confirm and go to the payment provider’ via IDEAL, among others. The (down) payment of the rent is then made via an e-mail from the landlord, which you will receive within 2 to 4 weeks after the reservation. If you are forced to cancel after a final reservation, we will charge the €69 already paid for Security & Guarantee . A cancellation or modification will also be carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to the rental agreement between the client and the service provider.

How does an option work?

For all accommodation you can request a non-binding option for two days. Should your stay be planned within six weeks, we do not grant options. For more information see tab ‘options’.

How far in advance can I book?

How long in advance you can book varies from one accommodation to another. Some accommodation you can book more than a year in advance and others up to a year.

What happens to my personal data?

We ensure that your personal data remains strictly confidential. Your personal data is handled carefully and protected in accordance with the Data Protection Act. The data file is used exclusively for our guest administration.

From when to when does a weekend, midweek and week stay run?

We state the applicable arrival and departure times for each accommodation. Different departure times often apply during holidays.
