Terkaple is a village in the Dutch province of Friesland. It has about 220 inhabitants.
The place owes its name to its formation around a chapel. This chapel belonged to the church of Oldeboorn. Next to the church from 1845 there are a number of beautifully situated old farms and a characteristic drawbridge that has been mechanized. Terkaple has a bungalow park, its own marina, a café-restaurant, a primary school and a tennis court.
Terkaple is located near the Terkaplesterpoelen (Terkaplester Puollen) and forms a twin village with Akmarijp.
