The living room is tastefully decorated and is equipped with TV with premier league live and film. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, everything is there as a dishwasher, 6 burner cooker, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. On the ground floor there is also a recreation room, ideal for celebrating an anniversary, reunion or small wedding. A room with bar, table tennis, darts and shuffleboard. A special feature is the giant frying pan suitable for pancakes, paella, barbecue and frying eggs for breakfast. The garden is spacious and has a terrace with a playing field on which there is a volleyball net and football goals. The firepit makes the evenings extra cosy. For an extra relaxing stay, it is possible to rent a wood-fired Finnish sauna or hot tub (only separately).

The real bon vivants can easily cross the border from Luyksgestel for a day out in Belgium. This unique border region has a rich historical ‘smuggling’ past. The friendly atmosphere is everywhere. Not far away, you will find two famous abbeys, those of Postel and Achel (both are well worth a visit). In addition, there are various (weekly) markets in Bergeijk, Valkenwaard, Eersel and the Sunday flea market in Lommel. Within walking distance of Weijergaerde, you can enjoy a simple but delicious meal at forest pub De Koperen teut.
